Javanese Lular Ritual

“Lulur” is a traditional beauty ritual from the royal palaces of central Java, Indonesia.  Famous for its beautifying and its softening effects on the skin.  Traditional Indonesian massage is followed  the “Lulur” (a body mask made up of floral petals) while wrapped, a gentle head massage is given.  An application of yogurt neutralises and softens the skin before showering.
